Did you know that Grants.gov has added a new feature called Workspace?
From what I gather via the Grants.gov blog, Workspace has three key benefits:
- Allows a team of registered users from your organization to log in to Grants.gov and create a "shared online workspace" dedicated to completing your grant application. Multiple people can work on forms at the same time, cutting down on the number of emails with attachments that you may need to send to collaborators.
- Duplicates information filled out in forms so you don't have to keep inputting the same information in form after form.
- Eliminates need to download and fill in PDFs (unless you prefer to use PDFs). Workspace allows you to fill in forms online (which is an intuitive process) and starting next year, you'll be able to complete forms on your phone. Wait, what? Apply for federal grants on your phone? Is this taking things just a little too far...?
Have you used Workspace? And if so, how's it working for you?
