If you've followed the plan for prepping most of the elements of your kid's lunches on Sundays as outlined here, packing a lunch will be even faster!
Tip 1: Make the main course for your child’s lunch for tomorrow as you are making dinner tonight.
Dinner leftovers make lovely lunches.
“Main course” ideas: wraps, pizza bites, beans and rice, shredded chicken, quesadillas, and mac and cheese.
Tip 2: Pack the lunch as you’re serving or cleaning up after dinner.
Save even more time by filling the lunch containers with the main course at the same time that you’re dishing up dinner.
Tip 3: Include your child in helping you pack her food.
This might be a good memory making time and learning experience for her!
